CEO, Mr. Ari Pok­ka is world­wide known prin­ci­pal and edu­ca­tion pol­i­cy mak­er. He has led two of the biggest senior High Schools in Fin­land. As a school leader his career is 25 years. Ari has also been The Pres­i­dent of Finnish Asso­ci­a­tion of Prin­ci­pals and Inter­na­tion­al Con­fed­er­a­tion of Prin­ci­pals. Dur­ing his long career Ari has worked numer­ous edu­ca­tion­al bod­ies in Fin­land and abroad. His last work­ing expe­ri­ence was Head of Devel­op­ment in First Finnish Senior High School in Doha Qatar.

Cur­rent­ly Ari is work­ing in Roma­nia, Ukraine and Chi­na in school lev­el and min­istry advisor.

Ari is an author of well-known book: TOP Class — Finnish School lead­er­ship and Man­age­ment. Dur­ing 2021 Top Class has been pub­lished in Chi­na. He is now work­ing in sev­er­al coun­tries as edu­ca­tion advisor.

Chief Expert, Dr. Pasi Reinikainen has worked for over 20 years in edu­ca­tion eval­u­a­tion, pol­i­cy­mak­ing, research and nation­al edu­ca­tion reforms. He has held var­i­ous lead­ing posi­tions in Fin­land. As a Sec­re­tary-Gen­er­al of the Finnish Edu­ca­tion Eval­u­a­tion Coun­cil he was respon­si­ble of eval­u­a­ton of all the lev­els of edu­ca­tion, from ear­ly sup­port and care, fhrough pri­ma­ry- and sec­ondary edu­ca­tion includ­ing VET to adults’ lib­er­al edu­ca­tion. He has also worked as a Chief con­sul­tant of Pub­lic Edu­ca­tion Eval­u­a­tion Com­mis­sion in the King­dom of Sau­di Ara­bia, the EU’s Res­i­dent Twin­ning Advi­sor in Egypt and as Lead­ing Inter­na­tion­al Expert in Teacher Stan­dards Devel­op­ment in Jor­dan. Nowa­days, he is work­ing as an advi­sor of Ukrain­ian school reform. Dr. Pasi has also worked with the OECD, in the EU and the EC.

Dr. Pasi’s work has been award­ed by many nation­al and inter­na­tion­al bod­ies, for exam­ple, FERA and IEA’s Bruce H. Chop­pin Memo­r­i­al Award 2008. He has writ­ten more than 70 pub­li­ca­tions, worked as a chief edi­tor and edi­to­r­i­al board mem­ber of many sci­en­tif­ic jour­nals and pub­li­ca­tion series and been an invit­ed keynote speak­er at var­i­ous inter­na­tion­al conferences.

PhD Jarkko Lamp­iselkä has been mak­ing his career in the Uni­ver­si­ty of Helsin­ki as senior lec­tur­er in chem­istry and physics didac­tics. He is a dis­tin­guished schol­ar in STEM edu­ca­tion, edu­ca­tion­al lead­er­ship and school based eval­u­a­tion, edu­ca­tion­al research, and school text­book devel­op­ment. Dr. Lamp­iselkä has qual­i­fi­ca­tion for school prin­ci­pal.
Dr. Lamp­iselkä is an expert in teacher train­ing. He has long expe­ri­ence in teacher train­ing in the Uni­ver­si­ty of Helsin­ki, where he was trained both pre-and in-ser­vice teach­ers from pri­ma­ry, sec­ondary and ter­tiary lev­els. Also, he has many year expe­ri­ence in-ser­vice train­ing of teach­ers and prin­ci­pals in Ukraine, in-ser­vice teacher train­ing in Moroc­co, and in-ser­vice teacher train­ing of Russ­ian, Kaza­khstan­ian teach­ers in Fin­land. He is also the Direc­tor of Päi­jät-Häme Region STEM Edu­ca­tion Cen­ter. The Cen­ter has orga­nized
numer­ous infor­mal learn­ing activ­i­ties in STEM sub­jects includ­ing sum­mer camps, sci­ence exhi­bi­tions, sci­ence fairs, sci­ence clubs and spe­cial cours­es for tal­ent­ed stu­dents. For exam­ple, since 2018 the Cen­tre has orga­nized over 200 school vis­it and over 100 oth­er activ­i­ties which have col­lect­ed more than 4000 stu­dent vis­i­tors, over 500 teach­ers and hun­dreds of par­ents and oth­er stake­hold­ers.
Dr. Lamp­iselkä is an expert in eval­u­a­tion. Among oth­ers, he works in Finnish Matric­u­la­tion Exam­i­na­tion Board in Chem­istry Divi­sion as eval­u­a­tion expert and has worked in Euro­pean Com­mis­sion as an eval­u­a­tor in the FP7 Call in the Area of “Sci­ence in Soci­ety” in 2009. Dr. Lamp­iselkä has been the Finnish rep­re­sen­ta­tive in Euro­pean Com­mis­sion Expert Group on eval­u­at­ing sci­ence edu­ca­tion in Europe (Eury­dice) in 2006.
Dr. Lamp­iselkä is an expert in edu­ca­tion­al research. He has pub­lished sev­er­al papers in referred aca­d­e­m­ic jour­nals, he has been edi­tor in sci­en­tif­ic pro­ceed­ings, and super­vised both the Mas­ter and PhD lev­el the­sis. Lamp­iselkä has worked in many EU fund­ed projects and col­lect­ed research funds ca. 1.5 mil­lion euro in ten years. More­over, he has worked in ESERA (Euro­pean Sci­ence Edu­ca­tion Research Asso­ci­a­tion) exec­u­tive board 2012 — 2015 and the pres­i­dent of the ESERA 2015 conference.
